Notification System Update

We recently discovered a glitch in our automated notification system that caused some families from last school year to continue receiving calls. We have been working closely with our service provider to correct the issue, and it has now been fully resolved.

The Community Closet hosted by Early Childhood Education Students is still scheduled as planned, tomorrow from 10am-2pm! Here are some answers to questions we have been asked: -Who can shop? Anyone, regardless of income can shop! -Is there a limit on how much a person can take? You can get as much and as little as you want or need! -Can you shop for someone else? Yes! We hope you to see you tomorrow!

Early Childhood Education and Grant Head Start took an On-Site Field Trip to the Vet Science Lab today to visit the animals. The preschoolers got to pet Molly the Collie, Chubs the Ferret, Burrow the Snake, Ophelia the Calico Cat, Doug the Bearded Dragon, and see Prickles the Hedgehog. Thanks to Mrs. Kline, Ms. Wagers and students for letting us come visit! It was a lot of fun!

Kenny Carter demonstrates angle cuts on a mitre saw. Students will utilize these skills to build their Christmas tree projects.

Early Childhood Education Students hosted their local Educators Rising Competition today. They have been working very hard to prepare for this competition to receive feedback for the State in March.

Senior IT students in the Jumpstart Program were able to get a tour of Purina and their IT department. They also learned about Spot, the robotic dog. Spot will do quality inspections throughout the plant.

🎉 Reward Day at Scene75! 🎉 As an incentive in our Government classes, students who pass their End-of-Course Government Exam earn a spot on a special field trip. Today we celebrated last year’s Government students who met that goal — and they spent the day at Scene75 enjoying games, food, and a well-deserved break. From family and friends to teachers, lab partners, and opportunities here at Grant—our students filled the tree with messages that remind us what truly matters. Due to a power outage in Bethel, Grant Career Center will be dismissing early today. Student drivers are being released at this time. We are currently waiting for buses to arrive for our bus riders. If you pick up your child, you may come to Grant Career Center now for early dismissal. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
