Mrs. Heist, our Placement Coordinator, spent the day visiting our labs and talking with our seniors about exciting work-based learning opportunities. Her guidance is invaluable as our students prepare for their next steps in their careers. #CareerReady #ChoosetobeGreat!

Mr. Heist took our understanding of gravity to the next level today with an incredible demonstration! Using a sheet to represent space and two objects of different weights as the sun and planets, he showed us how gravity works on a cosmic scale. The heavier object created a dip in the sheet, pulling the lighter object toward it—just like how the sun's gravity holds the planets in orbit. It was an out-of-this-world lesson that brought the mysteries of our universe a little closer to home!

Today, 215 students voluntarily signed up to be in Drug Free Club at GCC! To say we are proud of these students is an understatement! Way to go! #choosetobegreat
